Story of the Stone

The Chinese Character “德” is a key concept in Chinese philosophy, usually translated "inherent character; inner power; integrity" in Taoism, "moral character; virtue; morality" in Confucianism and other contexts, and "quality; virtue" (guna) or "merit; virtuous deeds" (punya) in Chinese Buddhism.

Artist Profile

National level artist, renowned calligrapher and President of Guangdong Academy of Calligraphy. Li was named one of the ten Calligraphers of the Year in 2011. He has won many major national awards of the field and his work has been selected for national exhibitions.
